This report analyzes the findings of a new online survey that explores omnichannel commerce. Merchants were asked a series of questions surrounding their current capabilities, their technological challenges, and their omnichannel strategy and payments technology infrastructure plans. Key findings from the survey include:

  • The future is clear: 82% of merchants think omnichannel is important
  • A competitive edge: 65% of merchants said it made them more competitive
  • Limited adoption: Despite these figures, more than 43% of merchants do not offer any omnichannel capabilities
